I'm saddened to read if Maria's passing. I met her at the Oxnard clinic and her easy smile always greeted me. I spent many afternoons chatting with her and she never failed to mention how much her family meant to her. I know the transition after Nick died was not easy, but I'm glad she had such a loving family.
I always told her she reminded me of my late mom. May she rest in peace with Nick.
