Lupe Pacheco

Lupe Cornejo Pacheco, 96, of Idaho Falls, passed away July 16, 2019, at her home. 

She was born November 25, 1922, in Oxnard, California, to Pedro Cornejo and Jovita Guerrero Cornejo. She grew up and attended schools in Ventura County. 

On November 14, 1958, she married Jose Francisco “Frank” Pacheco. They had one daughter, Jovita.  Lupe was a devoted wife and mother and also worked as a grader/packer for the Seaboard Lemon Association. She also worked as a duty aide at Sierra Linda Elementary School for many years. Jose preceded her in death on May 19, 1998.

Lupe was a member of the Catholic Church.  She enjoyed gardening and loved going for walks.

Lupe is survived by her daughter, Jovita (Michael T.) Cosens of Idaho Falls, ID; 3 grandchildren, Michelle, Rachel and Eric Cosens; and 2 great grandchildren, Jasmine Lee Beauchene and Toi Elena Payne. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters, Lucy Muñoz and Mary Coronado; and a brother, Peter Cornejo.

Services will be held in Oxnard, California with the burial at Santa Clara Cemetery.
