Lucille Rorex

Mrs. Lucille Rorex, a longtime Oxnard resident was born on January 11, 1934, in Coyle, Oklahoma and died on July 18, 2018, in North Carolina while visiting family and friends. Lucille was born to Nelson Sr. and Ollie Hughes. Lucille went to Wilson Elementary and Oxnard High School. At seventeen she married Clive Rorex. She was a loving mother to her six children. She was also a loving sister to Gwendolyn, as well as a loving grandmother of seven and a great-grandmother to eight. 
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, Ollie and Nelson Sr., her brothers Theodore and Nelson Jr., and children, Cheryl, Janet, William, and Velda. 
A celebration of life will take place at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park. Graveside service, Friday, July 27, 2018, 11:00 am. 5400 Valentine Road Ventura, CA 93003
