Dear Cvijanovich Family;
Many years ago, your father and husband brought all of you to the Serbian Basketball Tournament. My father, George Danovich had been recruited by his friend to play on your team. After an early Saturday morning game, my father just raved about your family and of course your husband and father. How wonderful you all were and how much he admired Lou. It would be my father's last Serbian basketball tournament as a player. He had coached the Aliquippa teams for many years. To my father, a State Champion Basketball Player and College player under Press Maravich, there was nothing like playing in the Serb tournament. A few years after that game, he died of heart disease. Your father and family, made his last tourney as a player most memorable. I am so deeply sorry for the loss of your husband and father.
My Dad thought the world of him.
Memory Eternal,
Sharon Danovich Lupone

To Martha and Family,
Our deepest sympathies to you and the family on the passing of Coach. He was a teacher, mentor, and friend. He made Santa Clara a great place to work and to learn. It was a great pleasure to have known him and we will never forget the many contributions he made to the SCHS community of families and our own lives. God bless you all at this time and always. With love, Sue, Pat, Corey and Tim
