Karissa Madison Renee Serrato age 20 of Port Hueneme, died suddenly from a tragic car accident on the morning of Monday, September 4, 2018.

Born July 18, 1998 to Pete Serrato and Vanessa Allison. Born and raised in Oxnard and Port Hueneme surrounded by the places and things she loved. She graduated from Channel Islands High School and worked with people she loved and considered family at Walmart in Ventura. Karissa was a girlie girl who loved her makeup, nails, nice clothes and good food. A heart of gold she would often act silly and joke; to bring happiness into the lives of others. Her beautiful smile could light up a room. She overcame many obstacles and still believed things would always get better. Her family and friends kept her going and she kept us going; she loved nothing better than to be; loving up on the little ones. She knew no stranger young or old.

On the morning that God decided her work was done here and he needed her she was welcomed into Heaven by lots of family and friends; but we know she was so happy to finally see her Grandma Rosie again, who she loved and missed so much.

Karissa leaves behind her Father and Best friend, Pete Serrato, Mother, Vanessa Allison and her Madre, who she had a very special bond with, Shelly Knappenberger. Her Sisters; who she loved dearly, Brianna, Arianna and Rosie Serrato and their Mother, Brandi Caldwell; and her baby sister Aliyah Allison. Grandparents, Jerry and Diane Allison and Grandmothers; Rita and Becky. Her heart belonged to Gabriel Villareal and she hoped that someday they would grow old together. Along with her Godson Johnny who brought her so much joy and happiness, She also leaves behind many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends.

Karissa knew God and believed in his power, glory and guidance. Please consider reading Isaiah 43:2 for her.
