Tadpole thank you for coming into our lives and leaving us all better people for knowing you and sharing your love with us. We love you and will never forget you. I know you will continue watching over each and every one of us. I PROMISE you I will watch over Jared. Jared, you are not alone. You know there’s a reason for my camp name. Your one of mine. I love you.

I had the honor of working with Jimmy at OCR. He was one of the kindest people I have known. In the years since we would debate n Facebook. We had different opinions but always treated each other with respect. He was always smiling. He was a great son and father and we will miss his daughter.

Our deepest condolences to the Leeong family. We are so heartbroken with Jimmy’s passing. He was a true mentor, friend, and scout leader. The nicest person who always thought of others first. From attending swim meets to troop meetings to graduations, you’ve made a lasting impact for our family. We love you. Gone too soon. Rest In Peace ❤️😭

It’s my hope and the hope of others I suspect, that Jimmy’s family know how deeply loved and appreciated Jimmy was for his laughter, his genuine friendliness and his endless energy. He was a rare and beautiful human. I’m thankful to have known him. 💚

I am so very sad at Jimmy's passing. So young! I remember meeting him way back when we were both working at the Orange County Register in Santa Ana, CA. We went our separate ways when I left, but reconnected again several years later through our involvement in Scouting. Rest now Jimmy. I am praying for your family.

Jimmy will be greatly missed, his big smile and positive attitude brought a brightness to all that he did. Our family's scouting experience was enhanced by his commitment and love for scouting to guide and help boys become men with deep and valuable qualities. Our time with him and his son Jared will never be forgotten. Thank you Jimmy, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
