Jeremiah Davon McCowan

Jeremiah Davon McCowan, 18 years old, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 29, 2018. Jeremiah was born to Vincent Darnell McCowan and Desiree Galleo McCowan on September 22, 1999 in Ventura, CA. Throughout his life, Jeremiah participated in a number of sports such as basketball, football, and track and field. In addition, Jeremiah was attending classes at Ventura College to pursue a career in music as a musician with the stage name of Yung Purpz. Anyone who knew Jeremiah would agree that he was a kind-hearted and talented young man who deeply loved those in his life. Some knew Jeremiah as Miah, TT, J Flash, or Yung Purpz, but whatever name they knew him by, no one could forget his beautiful smile and goofy nature. Those who had the opportunity to know Jeremiah on a personal level will always have his impression on their hearts. Along with being a joy to the people in his life, Jeremiah was a soldier in the Kingdom of God. As a born-again believer, who was raised in the church, Jeremiah knew Jesus Christ for himself as his personal Lord and Savior. Jeremiah is survived by the memories of his Mother Desiree Galleo McCowan, Father Vincent Darnell McCowan Sr. older brother Vince McCowan, older sister Mikaela McCowan, younger brother Joshua McCowan, uncles Ozzie, Lonnie, James McCowan, Phillip Galleo, aunts Samantha McCowan Hendrix, Jennifer Galleo and over 50 cousins of the McCowan Family, The Miracle Center Church Family and a host of friends.
