Anthony Medina

On the morning of March 26th, 2018, our Lord called upon his son Anthony Medina, at the age of 61. He was born on September 23rd, 1956, in Oxnard, CA. He graduated as a proud Viking in 1978 from Hueneme High School and went to Moorpark College for one year. He is preceded into death by his grandma and grandpa Sarah and Leopoldo Torres, and his aunts and uncles. 
Anthony is survived by his beloved mother and step-father Mary and Jose Benavides, his children Crystal, Yvonne, and Anthony Medina, his ex-wife Kathy Bernier, along with his two sisters, brother, six grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. 
He was a devoted man of God at Victory Outreach Church, and there was never a dull moment when Tony aka "Funky Cool Medina" was around. The way he filled the room with laughter, his smile and all the jokes that he shared will forever be missed. 
A visitation for Tony will be held at the Reardon Funeral Home, 511 N. A St., Oxnard, CA 93030, on Monday, April 2nd, 2018 from 5 pm to 9 pm with a recitation of the Rosary at 7 pm. Funeral Mass will take place, Tuesday, April 3rd, 2018 at Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 463 W Pleasant Valley Rd, Oxnard, CA 93033, at 10 am. Burial will immediately follow at Santa Clara Cemetery, 2370 N H St, Oxnard, CA 93036.
