Marie Moore Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Marie Elizabeth Moore on Friday, February 26, 2024. She was born October 30, 1946 in Boston, MA to James and Rose Lynsky.

Marie began her working life in private industry as a bookkeeper for a number of years. She then began her long and very successful career at NSWSES Port Hueneme, rising through the ranks and retiring in 2004 after 27 years.

She enjoyed a life of travel, adventures, and lawn bowling, making friends with all those she met.

Marie is survived by her loving brother James; and sisters Barbara, Sandy, and Jamie.

A celebration of life will be held mid-spring.
