Solon "Bud" Bruce
Solon "Bud" Bruce of Oxnard passed away due to a lengthy illness on Wednesday September 17th in Camarillo Ca at the age of 80. Bud was born on April 6th, 1934 in Great Falls Montana. Bud was a naval aviator in the navy and after he was discharged spent many years as a program analyst for the county of Ventura before retiring in 1995 to spend time with his family and to enjoy the things he loved doing like flying airplanes.
Bud was a devoted husband to his wife of 55 years Dora Bruce and a beloved father to his sons Daris Bruce (Carolyn) of Meridian, ID and Shaun T. Bruce (Lillian) of Camarillo, Ca. Bud also has 4 grandchildren; Matthew of Oxnard, Nicollette of Camarillo, Shaun of Camarillo and Erik of Meridian, ID.
A memorial service will be held for Bud on Saturday September 20th from 4-6pm at the Reardon Funeral Home 511 North A st, Oxnard Ca
