Richard "Dick" Robert Kollar

Richard "Dick" Kollar was called by the Lord to "step into my office" on February 7, 2016. Born January 22, 1940 in Cleveland, Ohio he met the love of his life, Gail, when he was stationed at Oxnard Air Force Base in June 1962. They wed June 22, 1963. Besides owning and operating his own small business, Dick was an avid bowler and loved to cook. His best times were spent in the kitchen or in a bowling alley with his kids and wife always giving instruction where he saw fit, which was always. Richard's very unique sense of humor, tell it like it is, willing to help a friend in need persona will be deeply missed by the many lives he touched. He is survived by his wife, Gail, children James and Margaret, son in law Jeff and grandson Caden. A celebration of his life will be held Thursday February 11, 2016. There will be a viewing beginning 9am and services will be held directly after at 10am at Reardon Funeral Home located at 511 N. "A" St, Oxnard. Anyone in attendance who has bowled with him in the past is encouraged to wear league shirts or bowling attire.
