Miranda Cabrera, 14, of Oxnard passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2014 surrounded by her family.
My precious Miranda, we held you for a little while, made plans to watch you grow. We played each waking moment so you'd know we loved you so. we cherish all the little things that went unnoticed then, a special bond between us grew our little one, our precious friend. A place of honor you have in our heart and in our home, it brings us joy and peace to know you're not alone. We know that Jesus holds you close and tends your every need, you are now safe in heaven a special place indeed. Love, Mommy and Daddy.
Miranda was a fighter from the beginning and never complained. She had a love for all animals but especially loved dogs. She also loved watching Hello Kitty and Finding Nemo comparing that with love she had for her dad.
Miranda was preceded in death by her aunt Susie Leon, grandparents Maria Cabrera, Mauro and Maria Miramontes, uncles Mauro Jr., Ricardo, Victor Daniel, Ezekiel Miramontes and Eugene Daniel. Cousins Jamie E. Miramontes Jr. and Julina A. Marin.
She is survived by her parents Mike and Angelica Cabrera, siblings Mikie, Makeilah, Levi, grandfather Miguel Cabrera, uncles Florentino, Francisco, Teodoro, Refugio, Martin, Manuel Cabrera, Alfredo, Jaime, Tomas, Alberto, JoseLuis Miramontes, aunts Socorro Torres, Ma.Elena Cabrera, Manuela Rodarte, Margie Marin, Mary Miramontes, Sandra Daniel, Olivia Miramontes, 91 cousins and numerous second cousins. She is deeply loved and inspired everyone she touched.

The family would like to thank UCLA Children's Medical Center, Dr Mark Plunkett, Cardiothoracic Sergeon, Dr Juan Alejos, Cardiologist and all of UCLA staff who tended to her. Dr Andrew J. Huang, pediatrician, Christopher Landon, MD Pediatric Pulmonary and Walgreens Home Effusion.

Services for Miranda will be on Sunday December 7, 2014 Christian Memorial and viewing will be from 3:00 P.M-5:30pm with Rosary to follow from 7:00 P.M.-8:30pm at the Reardon Fuenral Home, 511 North A Street, Oxnard.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, December 8, 2014 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church 530 N Juanita Ave Oxnard, CA 93030 followed by burial at Santa Clara Catholic Cemetery 2370 N H St Oxnard, CA.

We are asking that no one wear black please as she is an Angel.
